For Families & Professionals
Good Food for the People You Love. Practical Reassurance for You.
The independent adult remains the client and retains full dignity and control. The Companion Chef is not a home-healthcare provider and does not provide medical monitoring, personal care or clinical reporting.
With the client's permission, an authorized family member can receive a brief Family Note after each visit — practical, culinary and nothing more.
Peace of mind
You Can't Always Be There. We Can.
We don't replace family, caregivers or healthcare professionals. We do something different, bridging the gap: bring professional cooking, fresh weekly food and a familiar presence into the home — while the client remains fully in charge of their own life.
Reliable food support. A familiar weekly presence. Refrigerator and kitchen organized. And with permission, a brief Family Note so you know how the visit went.
Visibility and communication

Important
These are observations and service updates — not medical monitoring, medical advice or healthcare. Companion is not a healthcare provider and does not replace healthcare professionals.
Helping From Across Town — or Across the Country
Companion doesn't replace family.
We make being family easier.
Sometimes the person who wants to help most doesn't live nearby. With your family member's permission, we can keep an authorized family contact informed about scheduling and service details — helping everyone know when the next Companion Chef visit is planned and how the week is set up.
We're not there to replace family, caregivers or healthcare professionals. We're simply another pair of familiar hands in the kitchen — preparing good food and making the week a little easier.
Optional Family Notes
Being family is important.
Managing everything is exhausting.
With the client's permission, we can send an authorized family member a brief update after each visit — what we prepared, what is ready for the week, what we're planning next time and practical food or kitchen information that may be helpful.
Example Family Note
Tuesday's visit: We prepared chicken marsala, vegetable soup, beef stroganoff and a fresh breakfast option. Everything is portioned and labeled in the refrigerator. We added milk and fruit to next week's shopping list and are planning meatloaf after your mom mentioned an old family favorite.
Our notes are culinary and practical. We are a personal culinary service, not a healthcare or home-care provider.
