Savoyage

The Savoyage Experience

More Than a Chef.
Someone You Know.

When you choose Savoyage, you work directly with us — Alex and Selkie. We learn what you enjoy, what you avoid, how you like things seasoned, which dishes you want again and which family favorites you miss. Your home. Your choices. Your routine. We simply make some of it easier.

Three interconnected pillars

Together, They Create the
Savoyage Experience.

These aren't three separate services. Exceptional food, trusted presence and thoughtful concierge work together — each one making the others more meaningful.

01

Exceptional Food

Individually created menus, grocery procurement, scratch cooking in your own kitchen, packaging, labeling and full cleanup. No fixed menus. No meal plans. No predetermined experience. Learn more about our dedicated personal chef service in Boise and the Treasure Valley for independent older adults.

02

Trusted Presence

A familiar, consistent presence who gets to know your preferences, routines and household. No rotating roster of strangers. Someone who knows you.

03

Thoughtful Concierge

Because we are already regularly present in the home, practical household needs naturally become visible — and can be noticed, coordinated and followed through.

Exceptional food

Real Food.
Made by Us.

We grind our own meats, make our own bratwurst, bake breads and pastries, and prepare soups, sauces and other components from scratch when doing so makes the food better. We also use smart professional shortcuts where they preserve quality and allow us to spend our time on the things that genuinely make a difference.

Everything Included in Every Visit

Straightforward service, transparent ingredient costs and no grocery markup.

Menu Planning

We plan dishes around your tastes, appetite, preferences and dietary restrictions.

Grocery Procurement

We handle the shopping for your menu. Groceries purchased specifically for your household are charged at cost, with no markup.

In-Home Cooking

Alex and Selkie prepare your meals in your own kitchen using professional culinary techniques and scratch cooking where it makes a meaningful difference.

Portioning & Labels

Meals are portioned into reheatable containers and clearly labeled for easy enjoyment throughout the week.

Full Kitchen Cleanup

We wash what we use, wipe down the work area and leave your kitchen clean and orderly.

Familiar Presence

A familiar, consistent presence who gets to know your home, your tastes and what matters to you. People who know you — not strangers.

A small convenience

A few extra groceries? Consider it handled.

While we're already shopping for your Savoyage visit, we're happy to pick up up to five additional grocery items at no extra service charge.

Need a longer list? Extended Shopping is available for $20 per visit, plus the cost of the groceries, for up to 20 additional items from the same store.

This applies to food and household items only. Restrictions apply.

A weekly visit creates something meal delivery cannot: presence.

Because we're already there, we can take care of the little things that would otherwise end up on your list — and follow through until they're done.

Thoughtful concierge

Because Life Doesn't Stop at Dinner.

Because we are already regularly present in the home, practical  household needs naturally become visible. A repair needs scheduling.  Something needs picking up. Some things don't need your attention — they just need to get coordinated. We follow through until they are.

01

Notice

We listen and observe what matters during every visit.

02

Coordinate

We arrange the right vendor and confirm timing.

03

Follow Through

We see the request to completion — not just the call.

04

Inform

With your authorization, the people you choose can stay informed.

An example

During a weekly visit, Mrs. Smith mentions her washing machine isn't working. We confirm her availability, coordinate the repair, follow the request through to completion, record the result — and with her authorization, keep her family informed.

Your Food Should Taste Like Your Food

Menus can be adjusted around food preferences, allergies, texture preferences and dietary restrictions. If you have a meal plan or recipes supplied by a physician or Registered Dietitian, we can discuss whether we can prepare them as written.

Menus are built around how you actually eat — not a template. Every dietary need, preference and restriction is part of the conversation from the start.
