Introducing the Savoyage Journal

·Alex & Selkie
The Savoyage Journal, featuring stories about food and living well at home.

We wanted a place on the Savoyage website where we could talk about the things that do not fit neatly on a service page.

This is it.

The Savoyage Journal will be about food, certainly. It would be difficult for us to create anything that was not.

But it will also be about living well at home, the questions families navigate as parents get older, seasonal cooking, practical ideas that make ordinary life easier, and the thinking behind the way Savoyage works.

Some pieces will be useful.

Some will be personal.

Occasionally we will take you behind the scenes into our own kitchen, where there is a reasonable chance something is being baked, brined, smoked, tested or argued over.

We will also use the Journal to share genuine Savoyage news as the company grows.

What we will not do is fill it with generic lifestyle articles simply because websites are apparently supposed to have blogs.

If we publish something, we want it to be worth a few minutes of your time.

Savoyage began with a simple idea about bringing exceptional food into the homes of people who value their independence. It quickly became a broader conversation about familiarity, practical support and the value of having people around who pay attention.

The Journal gives us room to continue that conversation.

Welcome.
